Microsoft is not interested to continue another older feature of its operating system from the coming Windows 10 and the feature is Windows Media Center. So, the list of cancellation got another name including Internet Explorer.

Microsoft has ensured that Windows Media Center will go to rest in a tomb as soon as the new operating system goes to available. The OS maker first added this feature in 2002 as Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) and it has been updated through Microsoft Vista and Microsoft Windows 7. In Windows 8, the feature was offered as an add-on.

A reporter of ZDNet has tried to install the latest build of Windows 10 on a PC that running Media Center, but he received a warning message that saying, the app is not compatible with the operating system.

The Windows Media Center was a new-fashioned and necessary offering by Microsoft that was forwards of its time and deliberated by many an significant piece of software that gave value to Microsoft's add-on packs.
