Last year in the F8 conference, Facebook declared about the anonymous login tool for apps and today the social media giant rolled out the new tool. The new tool lets users to extensive control over their privacy.
In 2014, Facebook posted an article in the blog and wrote that they are working on two new features named Anonymous Login and Facebook Login. They also wrote, "Anonymous Login lets people log in to apps, so they don’t have to remember usernames and passwords, but it doesn’t share personal information from Facebook. People can decide later if they want to share any additional information, once they understand more about the apps."
Anonymous Login allows the Facebook account holders to login to the account using the apps more privately. At the time, the FB account holders are able to use their account with "better privacy control settings". Some FB users complaint that the app needs more information about the users to login it and users noted that they also require more control of the information.
As per statistics, users have logged in their FB account more than 10 billion times. The new feature, Anonymous Login, is in the final testing and in the short time, it will be opened for the real time usage. After successful launching of Anonymous Login, Fb will launch its new Login feature.
The new Facebook Login feature asks the users to give compliance to submit the information to the FB wall. In addition, it revealed a new dashboard that lets the users to see a list of apps and to remove the apps fully. In the short time, the new apps control panel will be revealed that gives the FB users to track all information about the linked apps.
